Project summary

The project has successfully integrated various modes of transport within the City of Šibenik, creating a more connected and efficient transport network.

The project included the development of a comprehensive study on the organization and integration of public transport in Šibenik. An underground logistics center was constructed at Poljana Square, featuring the Center for Mobility Management, electric vehicle charging stations, a supply zone for the old city center, and 256 parking spaces. The Center for Mobility Management now oversees the development and maintenance of the ticketing system and e-payment model, as well as monitoring and managing a smartphone parking app. It also collects and analyzes traffic data to maximize integration across different transport modes. To improve bus transit, 11 new low-floor buses were procured for operation on 7 city lines, and information displays were installed at 17 stops throughout the city area.
