Project description

The project includes the reconstruction/upgrading of the existing jetty on the southern (central) part of the shoreside plateau in the port of local importance open to public transport – Murter Butina, in Hramina cove in the very center of the island of Murter in order to ensure the necessary infrastructure prerequisites for the further development of the island’s economy and employment.

The extended part of the jetty is planned in a T-shape, with arm lengths of approx. 49.30 m (in the northwest-southeast direction) and 150.90 m (in the northeast-southwest direction), and will continue to the northwest edge of the existing jetty. The width of the extended part is 6.0 m, while the width of the connecting part varies from 6.0 to 17.55 m.

Project goal

The goal of the project “Reconstruction of the Port of Murter” is improving the maritime infrastructure by reconstructing the shoreside plateau of the port of local importance open to public transport – Murter in Hramina cove on the island of Murter and ensuring the necessary infrastructure prerequisites for the further development of the island’s economy and employment.

The project will raise the quality of life of the island population, the safety of life and property, as well as stimulate the demographic revitalization of the island.
