Project description

The project includes works on the extension and reconstruction of the existing main breakwater, which will be built as an extension of the current breakwater structure. In addition to the existing docking quay of the main breakwater, approximately 100 meters in length, the extension will add approximately 60 meters of docking quay in the inner part, as well as approximately 45 meters of outer/seasonal berths.

Project goal

The aim of the project is the expansion of the local port of Prigradica, which serves both passenger and tourist traffic, in order to improve the transportation connectivity of the island of Korčula with the mainland, enhance the safety level of the port of Prigradica, and reduce traffic congestion, particularly during the summer months.
