Project description

The Project has deployed 1448 charging points for Electric Vehicles (EVs) for Light Duty (LDV) and Heavy Duty Vehicles (HDV) in 305 locations in 11 EU Member States.

The charging infrastructure is usually covered by a canopy, which both serves as a solar roof for producing sustainable energy on locations and protects the chargers and cars from sun and heavy rainfall.

Project results

The Connect-E Project has implemented a reliable network of publicly accessible recharging stations for light-duty and heavy-duty electric vehicles, allowing electric charging along the TEN-T road networks in Romania, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and Croatia.
