Project description

The project Cross-E Cohesion will deploy 706 recharging points of minimum power output of 150 kW for Light Duty Vehicles (LDV) and 47 recharging points of minimum power output of 350 kW for Heavy Duty Vehicles (HDV) in 199 locations along TEN-T corridors, Core Network, and Comprehensive Network in HU, HR, PL, SK and SI complemented by 158 recharging points for LDV and HDV in the twinned project Cross-E General.

Charging stations will be installed along key transit routes and ports across Europe. Petrol will install 40 charging stations at 15 locations in Croatia. GreenWay will install at least 64 charging points in at least 16 locations on the routes Rijeka – Zagreb – Goričan and Zagreb – Bregana.

Project goal

The main goals of the CROSS-E project include improving connectivity between cohesion countries and Western Europe, establishing the first corridors for electric freight vehicles along key logistics routes, and reducing waiting times at locations with high demand for electric vehicle charging.

The installation of the first charging stations for heavy-duty vehicles will serve as the basis for further expansion of the infrastructure.
