Project summary

The project involved the preparation of a study assessing consumer expectations and needs for urban electric personal transport, inter-modal travelling, and innovative mobility services.

The project included the preparation of a study for designing and planning sites for a network of DC (direct current) and AC (alternate current) charging stations, as well as a study outlining specifications for all network components, quality assurance requirements, and documentation. It also covered the performance of procurement, adaptation, development, and integration of the ICT systems (Information and Communications Technology – ICT) needed to operate the network and perform EMSP services (Emobility Service Provider – EMSP). The project implemented the information platform required for innovative mobility services, carried out preparatory activities to integrate all elements of the system (charging stations, sensors, services, etc.), and oversaw the installation, testing, integration, and launch of a total of 144 AC and 23 AC/DC charging stations in Ljubljana, Bratislava, and Zagreb. Finally, a business plan was prepared, taking into account alternative means of financing a larger-scale project.
