Project summary

The project envisages an intensive integration of various modes of transport in the area of ​​the City of Šibenik.

Within the project, a study on the organization and integration of public transport will be developed. An underground logistics center will be constructed and located on the Poljana Square. It will include the Center for Mobility Management, electric vehicle charging stations, supply zone for the old city center and 256 parking spaces. The Center for Mobility Management will be responsible for development and maintenance of a ticketing system and e-payment model, monitoring and maintenance of a smartphone parking app. It will also collect and analyze traffic data to ensure a maximum integration between different forms of traffic. In order to improve bus transit, 11 new low-floor buses will be procured for commuting on 7 city lines. Info displays will be installed at 17 stops in the City of Šibenik area.
