Project description

The project includes three interrelated activities: Improvement of traffic management on bypass routes on sections of the A1 motorway from the Gornja Ploča interchange to the Vodice interchange, Upgrading of existing systems for detecting oversize vehicles on the A1 motorway in the Mala Kapela and Sveti Rok tunnel portal zones, Establishment of remote control of half-bumpers (ramps) for the use of emergency road junctions in front of the tunnel portals on the A1 and A4 motorways.

Project goal

The project aims to increase the safety and efficiency of road traffic through the modernization of ITS infrastructure. The implementation of modern ITS solutions will enable centralized and automated traffic management in real time, thereby increasing the flow and level of safety on motorways and ensuring more reliable and safer traffic.
