Project description

The project concerns the construction of the road section Bjelovar junction – Bulinac junction – Velika Pisanica junction, 20.75 km long. The section consists of Stages 1A, 1B, 1C and 2A. Stages 1A and 1B are 9.38 km long. Stages 1C and 2A are 11.37 km long.

The project includes the construction of the route, structures, and equipment. The most significant structures are: Ječmište Bridge, 50 m long, Ciglenska Bridge, 80 m long, Severinska 1 Bridge, 80 m long, Severinska 2 Bridge, 80 m long, Severinska 3 Bridge, 80 m long, Severinska 4 Bridge, 80 m long, Berek Viaduct, 80 m long, Bulinac Viaduct, 80 m long, Babimčica Bridge, 88 m long, Grabenska 1 Bridge, 105 m long, Grabenska 2 Bridge, 88 m long.

Project goal

The project continues the construction of the Sveta Helena expressway – DC12 Vrbovec – Bjelovar – Virovitica – Terezino Polje border crossing (Hungary).

Its construction ensures improved regional and local mobility in the form of improved accessibility of smaller regional centers and rural areas, relieves pressure on existing roads, removes bottlenecks and increases traffic safety.
