Project summary

The project has resulted in the construction of a new, 5,1 km long Vodice bypass, viz. the relocation of State road D8 outside of the urban area.

Looking from the direction of Zadar, the newly-constructed road connects to the existing State road D8 right before the ″Vodice″ business area and, passing north from the town’s built-up areas, future sports and recreation center, and business area, reconnects to the State road D8 heading towards Split. The construction of the Vodice bypass shortens travel time in transit and urban traffic, reduces greenhouse gas emissions in the urban area and significantly increases traffic safety.
