Project description

The objective of this project is the procurement of 10 low-floor trams, each with a total length of 21 meters and a seating capacity of 44. The vehicle can accommodate 91 standing passengers, not including foldable seats. The total capacity of the vehicle is 135 passengers, ensuring an optimal balance between seated and standing spaces for urban transport.

Project goal

The new low-floor trams offer greater comfort, easier boarding and disembarking for passengers, and modern safety and information systems. Their use fully leverages the benefits of the upgraded infrastructure — the renewed tracks extend vehicle lifespan, while the improved network reduces the risk of breakdowns and delays. The connection between these projects creates a sustainable and integrated public transport system that encourages increased tram use, reduces traffic congestion, and contributes to lower greenhouse gas emissions.
