Project summary
The project envisages the preparation of the regional transport master plan for the East Croatia functional region
Within the master plan, a detailed analysis of the condition of the transport system shall be carried out from the perspective of organization, operational functioning, vehicle fleet and transport infrastructure. It shall identify the main problems in need of resolution, a multimodal transport model for planning and selection of optimal transport development solutions shall be drafted, the future transport system shall be devised, and a Strategic Environmental Assessment shall be prepared. The implementation of the measures defined by the plan is predicted to increase the efficiency and sustainability of the transport system according to the needs of the region’s inhabitants.
