Project summary
The project envisages the preparation of a regional transport masterplan for the Bjelovarsko-bilogorska county in the Central Croatia functional region.
A detailed status analysis of the transport system will be conducted in the masterplan from the point of view of organisation, operative functioning, fleet and transport infrastructure along with the identification of critical problems that need solving, preparation of a multimodal transport model for planning and selection of the optimal transport development solutions, design of the future transport system and preparation of the Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment. The implementation of the measures defined by the plan is projected to increase the efficiency and sustainability of the transport system in conformity with the needs of the region’s inhabitants.
