Project summary
The project prepared a regional transport masterplan for Bjelovarsko-bilogorska County within the Central Croatia functional region.
The masterplan conducted a detailed status analysis of the transport system from the perspectives of organization, operational functioning, fleet, and transport infrastructure. It identified critical problems requiring solutions, prepared a multimodal transport model for planning and selecting optimal transport development solutions, designed the future transport system, and completed the Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment. The implementation of the measures defined by the plan has increased the efficiency and sustainability of the transport system in accordance with the needs of the region’s inhabitants.
