An undersea passage is being built to enable the free circulation of seawater between the inner and outer port waters, as well as a waiting zone, parking plateau and a bus stop. Once the project is completed, by the end of 2021 at the latest, the safety, capacity, and quality of transportation on the state ferry line Biograd-Tkon will increase for both local inhabitants, and their guests. It is expected that this project will lead to a significant decrease in traffic jams and waiting times during peak periods, as well as an increase in the quality of life and availability of different facilities for islanders.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Construction of the ferry port in Tkon is proceeding according to the plan, not deviating from the set deadlines, despite the coronavirus pandemic.
