A detailed status analysis of the transport system was conducted in the masterplan from the point of view of organisation, operative functioning, fleet and transport infrastructure along with the identification of critical problems to be solved, preparation of a multimodal transport model for planning and selection of the optimal transport development solutions, design of the future transport system and preparation of the Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment. The implementation of the measures defined by the plan is projected to increase the efficiency and sustainability of the transport system in conformity with the needs of the region&#8217;s inhabitants.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The project produced a regional transport masterplan for the North Dalmatia functional region.
