The upgrade of the western part of the Port of Cres improved transport quality on the high-speed ferry line Mali Lo\u0161inj \u2013 Ilovik \u2013 Susak \u2013 Unije \u2013 Martin\u0161\u010dica \u2013 Cres \u2013 Rijeka, enhanced safety within port waters, and enabled a more efficient connection between the bus station and the ship terminal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"c-blocks-section-header js-block-section-header\">\n    <div class=\"c-blocks-section-header__inner\">\n                    <h2 class=\"u-a3 c-blocks-section-header__title js-section-title\">\n                Project results            <\/h2>\n                    <h3 class=\"u-a2 c-blocks-section-header__description\">\n                The project resulted in the successful reconstruction and extension of the western part of the Port of Cres, contributing to improved port functionality, enhanced safety, and better connectivity with other modes of transport.            <\/h3>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The project successfully improved the infrastructure in the port basin area of Cres by constructing a safer and better-organized pier on the west coast. This upgrade has enhanced connectivity between the island of Cres and the surrounding Cres archipelago islands. The reconstruction and extension have positively impacted access to employment, education, and other essential services for island residents.
