{"id":2413,"date":"2020-06-05T08:04:01","date_gmt":"2020-06-05T08:04:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/povezanahrvatska.eu\/projekti\/razvoj-sustava-obiljezavanja-vodnih-putova-republike-hrvatske\/"},"modified":"2025-05-21T08:10:03","modified_gmt":"2025-05-21T08:10:03","slug":"razvoj-sustava-obiljezavanja-vodnih-putova-republike-hrvatske","status":"publish","type":"projects","link":"https:\/\/povezanahrvatska.eu\/en\/projekti\/razvoj-sustava-obiljezavanja-vodnih-putova-republike-hrvatske\/","title":{"rendered":"Development of the waterway marking system of the Republic of Croatia"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"c-blocks-section-header js-block-section-header\">\n    <div class=\"c-blocks-section-header__inner\">\n                    <h2 class=\"u-a3 c-blocks-section-header__title js-section-title\">\n                Project summary            <\/h2>\n                    <h3 class=\"u-a2 c-blocks-section-header__description\">\n                The project &#8220;Development of the Waterway Marking System of the Republic of Croatia&#8221; included investment in improving the waterway marking and monitoring system by taking into consideration its previous state and available modern solutions.            <\/h3>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The marking is performed on the following waterways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>On the Danube River from km 1295.5 to km 1433.0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the River Drava from km 0.00 to km 198.6<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the River Sava from km 210.8 to km 594.0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the River Kupa from km 0.00 to km 5.0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the River Una from km 0.00 to km 15.00<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The waterway marking activities (according to Article 33 of the Ordinance) include: installation of watermarks (marking, signaling) to regulate navigation and its safety; replacement, renovation and maintenance of the existing safety equipment; monitoring of waterways and controlling of marking systems (e.g. control of functionality of watermarks, locating watermarks in case of movement, placing additional watermarks, etc.); removing watermarks before the appearance of ice and high water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of this investment, the existing software was upgraded with the ability to monitor AtoN, and new navigable markers (buoys) with built-in navigation systems and solar lamps (so-called AIS AtoN \u2013 Aids to Navigation) were purchased, some of which are also equipped with depth sensors. The two existing marking ships, aged over 30 and 50 years respectively, were replaced due to their nearing expiration and because their capacities and operational performance no longer met the growing needs for waterway tours and safe navigation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The marking is performed on the following waterways: The waterway marking activities (according to Article 33 of the Ordinance) include: installation of watermarks (marking, signaling) to regulate navigation and its safety;
