{"id":2838,"date":"2020-10-01T08:40:00","date_gmt":"2020-10-01T08:40:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/povezanahrvatska.eu\/?post_type=projects&#038;p=2838"},"modified":"2025-05-21T09:12:55","modified_gmt":"2025-05-21T09:12:55","slug":"international-ship-winter-shelter-on-the-danube-in-opatovac","status":"publish","type":"projects","link":"https:\/\/povezanahrvatska.eu\/en\/projekti\/international-ship-winter-shelter-on-the-danube-in-opatovac\/","title":{"rendered":"International ship winter shelter on the Danube in Opatovac"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"c-blocks-section-header js-block-section-header\">\n    <div class=\"c-blocks-section-header__inner\">\n                    <h2 class=\"u-a3 c-blocks-section-header__title js-section-title\">\n                Project description            <\/h2>\n                    <h3 class=\"u-a2 c-blocks-section-header__description\">\n                The project entailed the construction of a winter shelter to accommodate vessels in fast ice \/ pack ice conditions, in the Danube distributary between Opatovac Islet and the settlement of Opatovac, on the VIc class international waterway, at approximately 1,314 rkm.            <\/h3>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The project comprised the following investment measures<br>Winter shelter:<br>\u2022 initial site cleanup: excavation of approx. 175.000 m3 of material (sand, granulation 0-4 mm).<br>\u2022 construction of revetment and anchor blocks: sloping shore type, slope ratio 1:2, made up of blocks and quarried stone coating. Contiguous with the revetment structure, development of an earthwork shore plateau at an elevation of 84,00 m above sea level.<br>\u2022 mooring elements: bollards and spacer slots (30 blocks)<br>\u2022 guardhouse: guardhouse structure (single-storey, &#8220;L&#8221; shaped floor plan) total net surface area 67 m2<br>\u2022 supporting winter shelter infrastructure: internal access road, water supply and sewerage network, power supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The implementation of the project resulted in the formation of a wintering area with a minimum depth of 2.5 m, a 40 m wide waterway (outside the mooring area), and a 150 m turning basin, as well as a winter shelter with space for 23 vessels of standard dimensions (76.5 x 11.4 m), and a revetment 700 m in length.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"c-blocks-section-header js-block-section-header\">\n    <div class=\"c-blocks-section-header__inner\">\n                    <h2 class=\"u-a3 c-blocks-section-header__title js-section-title\">\n                Project results            <\/h2>\n                    <h3 class=\"u-a2 c-blocks-section-header__description\">\n                The completion of the project achieved coverage of the Danube on the extended Budapest\u2013Belgrade section by a port or winter storage at intervals of approximately 50 rkm, which is the daily reach of a typical cargo vessel navigating inland waterways.            <\/h3>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The project comprised the following investment measuresWinter shelter:\u2022 initial site cleanup: excavation of approx. 175.000 m3 of material (sand, granulation 0-4 mm).\u2022 construction of revetment and anchor blocks: sloping shore type, slope ratio 1:2, made up of blocks and quarried stone coating.
