The reduction in parking spaces is due to the expansion and conversion of the carriageway to two-way traffic, which occupies part of the former parking area. Additionally, the project included the installation of solar benches and solar bus shelters, as well as the implementation of special-purpose horizontal signaling to facilitate disabled access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"c-blocks-section-header js-block-section-header\">\n    <div class=\"c-blocks-section-header__inner\">\n                    <h2 class=\"u-a3 c-blocks-section-header__title js-section-title\">\n                Project results            <\/h2>\n                    <h3 class=\"u-a2 c-blocks-section-header__description\">\n                The completed project has resolved gridlock, improved traffic safety, and reduced congestion on the access road to the town of Novalja, Island of Pag. The upgraded road infrastructure in the publicly accessible port area now provides local residents with improved year-round access to employment, education, and essential services, contributing to the island\u2019s economic development and enhanced quality of life.            <\/h3>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The project has led to a reduction in traffic congestion, introduced additional public transport lines, and improved existing road, pedestrian, and cycling infrastructure, thereby increasing safety for all road users.
