\n Project description <\/h2>\n

\n The construction of Pier 3, measuring approximately 44 meters in length, 8 meters in width, and covering a surface area of 351.60 m\u00b2, has been completed. This pier is now used for the reception of liner passenger ships and the protection of the harbor\u2019s waters. Additionally, the reconstruction of the P. Kre\u0161imir Coast IV from Pier 1 to Pier 3, spanning about 365 meters, has been finished. This coastal belt now provides safe mooring for ships and ensures that the coast\u2019s height prevents flooding. <\/h3>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The project was implemented in two phases through two financial periods due to unforeseen circumstances arising in the implementation of the project from the first financial period. The subject of PHASE 2 was the construction of jetty 3, floor plan dimensions 43.95 x 8.00 m (outside the shore in the length of approx. 42.10 m), which was executed as a divided span construction on three supporting caissons on an axial span of 16.00 m with submerged screens. The jetty has a height of 5.50-7.50 m, i.e. it is built up to an elevation of +1.40 m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n Project results <\/h2>\n

\n The project has successfully established safe mooring conditions for ships and secured the appropriate height of the coast to prevent flooding. The reconstructed coastline now provides a reliable pedestrian connection to the city, accessible in all weather conditions, including during high sea levels when this was previously not possible. <\/h3>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

By improving the quality of the infrastructure in the port of Rab, the quality of public maritime transport has been improved, while raising the capacity to receive ships in coastal liner maritime traffic. Greater passenger safety, better long-term sustainability, and improved mobility of passengers will contribute to the general quality of life of the island population.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
