It will replace the existing road safety infrastructure on the 12 road sections with new traffic signals, signs and equipment, road markings, roadside as well as median crash barriers, crush cushions, traffic calming measures and improved visibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"c-blocks-section-header js-block-section-header\">\n    <div class=\"c-blocks-section-header__inner\">\n                    <h2 class=\"u-a3 c-blocks-section-header__title js-section-title\">\n                Project goal            <\/h2>\n                    <h3 class=\"u-a2 c-blocks-section-header__description\">\n                The main objective of the project is to improve the road safety performance by removing or protecting the road hazards located in seven locations across the Croatian Comprehensive TEN-T network (around Dubrovnik, \u0160ibenik, Split, Osijek, Slavonski Brod, Pula and Zadar).            <\/h3>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the EuroRAP analysis of road accidents between 2014 and 2018, during this period there were 240 traffic accidents with fatal and serious injuries on the state roads sections to be addressed.
