\n Project description <\/h2>\n

\n The project refers to the second phase of the development of the Terminal Resnik-Divulje in the port area of the Ka\u0161tela D Basin \u2013 Resnik, and is crucial for the improvement of maritime infrastructure of international significance. <\/h3>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The works include the construction of a pier on the outside of the embankment breakwater, harbour excavation to a depth of -5.30 metres and the extension of the existing seawall on the inside of the breakwater. The pier is designed as a 53 meter unprotected structure, and will provide a berth for two vessels up to 40 metres in length, providing one berth on each side of the pier. A 1.5 metre wide seawall will be built at the base of the pier, which will provide space for turning fire engines. By extending the existing seawall by 52.27 metres, the width of 9 metres will be maintained, which will allow for the berthing of an additional catamaran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n Project goal <\/h2>\n

\n The expansion will give the terminal the capacity to accommodate four fast vessels instead of the previous one, thus optimizing the operational shoreline. <\/h3>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The project will significantly improve the connectivity of the islands with the Port of Split and the mainland, as it will enable a more efficient transfer of passengers and goods between Sveti Jeronim Airport and ships sailing to the islands. It will also reduce pressure on road traffic, redirecting passenger traffic from road to sea, which contributes to sustainable development and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
