The project involved the preparation of a study defining the technological component of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment, the establishment of a new Information and Communications Technology (ICT) system—or adaptation of the existing one—to ensure compatibility with both fast charging and multi-standard charging stations and Mobility Service Providers (MSPs).
It also included the installation, testing, and deployment of 222 50 kW multi-standard fast charging points and 30 ultra-fast (150–350 kW) electric vehicle charging stations along four TEN-T Core Network Corridors.
Additionally, the project included network planning for the Pan-Cohesion Roll-Out and business planning for electric vehicles, including an analysis of current needs and viable directions for mass market development.
