Project description

The project has reconstructed a section of County Road 6161, covering 688 metres in total. This includes 560 metres on the Vela and Mala Lučica subsections (from km 2+240.00 to km 2+800.00) and 128 metres on the Punta Barakadela subsection (from km 3+393.00 to km 3+521.00), improving road safety and traffic flow along these stretches.

The intervention was a part of the final phase of the three-phase project to construct/reconstruct the road Supetar – Pučišća – Povlja – Sumartin: (i) construction of the 4.825 m section Pučišća – Povlja, (ii) construction of the 10.400 m Pučišća – Povlja section and (iii) reconstruction of the existing roads 6161 (Supetar-Pučišća) and 6194 (Povlja-Selca) in the length of 31.640 m.

Project results

The project has enhanced transport connections between settlements on the island of Brač and improved road safety, facilitating safer and more efficient travel for residents and visitors.
