Project summary
The project envisages implementation of navigation technology allowing aircraft to determine their position by using satellite navigation, the Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) Out function, in Croatia Airlines’ fleet, on six DASH 8 aircraft and six AIRBUS aircraft, with the aims of making improvements to flight efficiency and safety, reducing pollution as well as optimizing and developing of SESAR (Single European Sky ATM Research).
As a part of the European Air Traffic Management (ATM) Master Plan, the new upgrade will meet the requirements for the performance and interoperability of surveillance by supporting all surveillance techniques currently used and planned to be used within the Single European Sky.
