Project summary

The project produced a feasibility study with cost-benefit analysis of the procurement of new passenger trains, responding to the need to modernize Croatian Railways Passenger Transport’s rolling stock.

Procurement of new trains is projected to increase the reliability and quality of service for passengers and reduce maintenance costs, the frequency of vehicle breakdowns and greenhouse gas emissions.
