Project summary

The project envisages the reconstruction of the tram infrastructure encompassing 11 sections of track in length of 8,2 km.

The project activities include the replacement of the worn out tram tracks (track disassembly, acquisition and laying of new tracks, placement of cable ducts etc.), the drafting of the project documentation regarding the modernization of the rectifier stations and the modernization of three rectifier stations (RS Patačićkina, RS Daničićeva and RS Zvijezda). The reconstruction of the specified rectifier stations includes the purchase and installation of the relevant equipment (transformers, rectifiers, power packs, plumbing and wiring material etc.), reconstruction works on the objects housing the stations and installation of the cable network from the rectifier stations to the tram tracks, that is their power conduits. The completion of the project shall improve the quality and increase the safety of the tram traffic in the city of Zagreb.
