Project summary
The project developed, implemented, and ensured the functionality and sustainability of the cross-border River Information Services (RIS). It was based on the operational exchange of RIS data.
These RIS-based Corridor services resulted in better planning of inland waterway transport, reduced waiting times and accelerated travel, increased the efficiency of inland waterway transport, optimized the use of infrastructure, and reduced administrative barriers.
