Project description
The project involved the upgrade, i.e., expansion, of the Quay of Knez Domagoj in the City port basin, Port of Split.
The upgrade and reconstruction of the quay consisted of two sections. Section I (A) extended from Lazaretto Quay to St. Peter’s Pier and spanned approximately 130.00 m, while Section II (B) extended from St. Peter’s Pier to St. Domnius Pier, covering approximately 125.00 m. The new shore is situated approximately 5.5 m further out to sea than the previous one, creating additional space that, along with the available area, accommodates the new 9.5 m wide operational area and pedestrian corridor.
