Project description

The project envisages the upgrade i.e. expansion of the Quay of Knez Domagoj in the City port basin, Port of Split.

The upgrade and reconstruction of the quay consists of two sections. Section I (A) extends from Lazaretto Quay to St. Peter’s Pier and spans the length of approx. 130,00m, while the coastline on Section II (B) extends from St. Peter’s Pier to St. Domnius Pier in the length of approx. 125,00 m. The new shore is situated approx. 5,5 m further out to sea than the existing one, creating additional space that will, along with the available area, accommodate the new 9,5 m wide operation area and pedestrian corridor.

Project goal

The objective of the project is to further expand the existing operation area and pedestrian area and install new utilities, with the aim of improving service and increasing port safety.
