Project description

The project envisages securing and modernization of 94 rail-road and one pedestrian crossing with automatic electronic signalling and safety devices which use modern LED light signals and warning bells to ensure traffic safety, while 79 level crossing are scheduled to have halfbarriers installed in addition.

The project will execute the securing and equipping of previously designed crossings on lines for international, regional and local traffic, with the aim of reducing the dangers arising from the intersection of two separate transport systems (railways and roads), increasing the safety level of crossings, reducing the number of traffic accidents, and reducing the human casualties and costs resulting from traffic accidents.
