Project summary

The project envisages the implementation of the Advanced Surface Movement Guidance and Control System (A-SMGCS) at Zagreb International Airport,

The project resulted in a proper technological solution for traffic management and it improved the availability and flow of data. The implementation of the project activities provides efficient surveillance, guidance and control of aircraft and vehicles on the airport maneuvering area. Moreover, it expands the capacity and improves the flow of movement on the airport surfaces under all weather conditions. It also improves flight efficiency and increases environmental benefits and safety. Finally, this project enhances cost effectiveness of the airport.
