Project summary
The project envisages activities which will directly contribute to the implementation of the Directive 2010/40/EU within the framework of the deployment of Intelligent Transport Systems in road and multi modal traffic, and supplements – Commission Delegated Regulations No 885/2013 and 886/2013.
The project activities include the continued implementation of the DATEX II standard (data exchange – DATEX) for the availability and exchange of data relevant for road safety, improvement and harmonization of the DATEX II standard by upgrading the communication system in the traffic control centers Bosiljevo, Delnice and Čavle, expansion of the existing traffic management plans and procedures, and installation of new equipment (LED VMD displays, video surveillance and road weather stations). The project represents an expansion of the technical scope which will be adopted through the Crocodile II project and it is a continuation of the Crocodile and Crocodile II projects.
