Project summary

The study Functional Airspace Block Central Europe – FAB CE is developed in this project.

The project envisages the preparation of the study Functional Airspace Block Central Europe – FAB CE which defines the operational and technical prerequisites for the project’s implementation. The study also develops and validates the operational concept of FAB CE’s Free Route Airspace – FRA with the potential of extending it beyond its borders. Aiming to verify the results and elaborate the necessary requirements for the introduction of the individual air traffic management systems, the study, as a validation tool, includes a simulation which was carried out at the Hungarocontrol’s Centre of Research, Development and Simulation.
