Project summary
The project prepared a regional transport masterplan for the City of Zagreb, Zagreb County, and Krapina Zagorje County.
The masterplan conducted a detailed status analysis of the transport system, examining organization, operational functioning, fleet, and transport infrastructure. It identified critical problems requiring solutions, prepared a multimodal transport model for planning and selecting optimal transport development options, designed the future transport system, and completed the Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment. The implementation of the measures defined by the plan has increased the efficiency and sustainability of the transport system in line with the needs of the region’s inhabitants.
